German Government Space Budget

Overall, Germany’s spending on space activities in 2015 totaled €## billion (US$## billion), an ##% increase from €## billion (US$## billion) in 2014. Germany’s contribution to ESA increased ##%, from €## million (US$## billion) in 2014 to €## million (US$## million) in 2015. In 2016, DLR plans to increase overall space spending by a further ##%, to €## billion. Increased spending on the national space program and EUMETSAT, funded at €## million and €## million, respectively, will be offset by a decrease in ESA contributions to €## million.
