Ms. Sarah Winfrey is a retired Air Force Space officer and is currently the Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Branch Chief for USSPACECOM/J8 (Capability & Resource Integration Directorate). In her current position, she is responsible for defining USSPACECOM’s SDA capability requirements, to include environmental monitoring.

Her diverse active-duty career included assignments the DoD and IC. She served as the Branch Chief of Advanced Weapons Test Capabilities, Deputy Executing Agent responsible for Directed Energy Test and Evaluation/Science and Technology, Chief of Current Operations at the then Joint Space Operations Center, 14th Air Force Deputy Director Operations and Exercises, Commander 23d Space Operations Squadron, Commander 722 Expeditionary Air Base Squadron, and retired as the Deput Director, Mission Support at the Nevada Test and Training Range. Additionally, she participated in the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency’s Service Chief’s Intern Program.
