CAPT Andrew Dittmer is a native of Des Moines, Iowa. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland, a Master of Science degree in Space Systems Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, and a Master of Arts Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. He was commissioned in the Navy upon graduation from the Naval Academy.

Captain Stephen R. Melvin has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCSD, and Masters Degrees from the US Naval War College, National Defense University, and the US Air War College.

At sea, he deployed with USS Antietam (CG 54) and USS Rodney M Davis (FFG 60) during Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. He served as Assistant Air Officer aboard USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) for a Middle East deployment with Eleventh Marine Expeditionary Unit and as both Maintenance and Operations Officer for the Vipers of HSL-48, deploying aboard USS Taylor (FFG 50) in support of NATO counter- piracy Operation Ocean Shield.

Mr. Olsen received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1988. He received his Master of Science in Space Operations from Webster University in 2003.

Captain Andy “Big Tuna” Berner is a Naval Aviator who has recently earned his Information Warfare Officer designation. Originally from Chatham, New Jersey, he graduated with merit from the United States Naval Academy in 1996 with a major in Systems Engineering and a minor in Spanish.  He holds a Masters in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Masters in Defense Technology and Systems from the National University of Singapore (Temasek Defense Systems Institute).

Sarosh Hussain is a Systems Engineer working Human-Systems Integration and Human Factors for Lockheed Martin on the Orion Spacecraft and Human Landing System. In this role, Sarosh is responsible for ensuring human capabilities and limitations are effectively and affordably integrated with system design and development. He employs a set of technical and managerial processes that lead design efforts with human concerns weighed alongside systems concerns.

Erwin, based in Arlington, Virginia, specializes in Defense Department and Intelligence Community space programs, policy, budgets, technology and the industry that supports this sector.

The JAXA ISS Program Manager oversees all elements of the KIBO’s operation, Japanese astronauts’ activities, and cargo resupply by Japanese vehicles, as well as the study of LEO activities looking ahead to post-ISS and future. In addition, he is responsible for international coordination of ISS activities; he contributes to the creation and development of ISS achievements, and he promotes public understanding of the ISS programs.

Luc Dubé is Director of Space Exploration Operations & Infrastructure at the Canadian Space Agency. In this role he serves as Program Manager for Canada’s Space Station Program, and he leads the teams and activities relating to CSA’s Space Exploration systems (including the Mobile Service System – Canadarm2, Dextre and the Mobile Base) and payloads.

rank De Winne became Head of ESA’s European Astronaut Center in Cologne, Germany in August 2012. Since 2017, he has been in charge of International Space Station (ISS) operations at ESA, and in 2020 became ESA’s ISS Program Manager.
