Mike Carey, a former USAF Major General with 34 years of experience in satellite and space- related operations is now shaping ATLAS’s future through strategy development, and business planning. Experienced with Air Force Satellite Control Network, Eastern/Western test ranges, the Space Test & Training Range, General Carey has the technical and political prowess to maneuver in the ever-expanding space markets. Mike holds a BA in History from the University of Central Florida, an MPA from the University of Oklahoma, and an MA in National Security & Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.

Dr. Janet L. Kavandi serves as the President of SNC subsidiary Sierra Space in Louisville, Colorado.

Vikki Schiff is the Vice President of Human Resources for Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. She leads all aspects of the company’s HR function including recruitment, employee relations, training, development, compensation and benefits for the company.

Stephen Volz is now serving as the Acting Assistant Secretary for Environmental Observation and Prediction. She provides executive leadership, strategic direction, and overall management for the entire agency’s Earth Science portfolio, from technology development, applied science, research, mission implementation and operation.

Paul Engola is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and head of Business Partnerships at Leidos. In this role, he is responsible for implementing and enhancing the human capital strategy for the company’s global workforce, as well as leading Corporate Real Estate and Facilities and Security.

Lisa B. Callahan is Vice President and General Manager of Commercial Civil Space at Lockheed Martin Space and has one of the coolest jobs in and out of this world!  Whether it’s returning humans to the moon, gathering samples from asteroids, exploring the planets of our solar system or peering back in time with the Hubble telescope, Lisa leads the teams who are building and operating the spacecraft that are unlocking the riddles of our universe. In her role, she oversees the development of the next human lunar lander and development of the Orion spacecraft, part of the Artemis program, which will return humans to the Moon and eventually take them to Mars and beyond. Her team develops and operates the robotic spacecraft that are exploring and unlocking the secrets of the solar system and our planet, Earth. Lisa also oversees the development of the GOES weather satellites which are significantly improving the way that forecasters predict severe weather and fires across the western hemisphere.
